Vaibhavi Merchant a well-known Bollywood dance choreographer has won National Film Award for Best Choreography for the song "Dholi Taaro Dhol Baaje" from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. She has also won awards for her choreography in Bunty Aur Babli and Aaaja nachle.

                                         

Vaibhavi Merchant has become famous only through her dancing acts in various movies.

Later she was also seen judging few dance reality shows such as Nach baliye, Jhalak Dikhlaja, Zara Nach Ke Dikha 2 and Just Dance

Terence Lewis

Terence Lewis a dancer and choreographer, specializing in contemporary dance has judged many reality shows. He judged reality dance series of Dance India Dance, Chak Dhoom Dhoom and then was later seen judging the Nach Baliye series. 

He has promoted himself through many dance reality shows and has also performed his styles on these stages. He was last seen in DID mummies.

His first choreography in a Hindi movie was a ballroom waltz, from Lagaan followed by the song Dil Ne Tumko from Jhankaar Beats.

He also gave a lecture on 'How to make Dance a successful Business' in Prin.L.N.Welingkar Institute of Management.

He holds a Guinness World Record for choreographing 1,336 people together on a popular Bollywood number, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. (AWESOME)

Prabhudeva referred to as India’s Micheal Jackson has seen promoting himself on all dance reality shows.  He is also seen in many movies like ABCD, Wanted, Rowdy Rathore etc..performing in bits and pieces. He has performed and designed a wide range of dancing styles.

He has a wax statue of himself at the Lonavala Celebrity wax museum in Pune.

Prabhu Deva first appeared as a background dancer for a song Agni Natchathiram from a Tamil Movie in the 1988.

He has also performed with Madhuri Dixit in the song "Ke Sera Sera" for the movie Pukar (SUPERB)

He had performed with American singer Katy Perry at the opening ceremony of the 5th edition of IPL in Chennai along with Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan,Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. 

                                   

He was also a part of ABCD, directed and choreographed by Remo Dsouza. He played the lead role of the movie.

He has directed Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya, Rowdy Rathore ,Wanted..this proves that a choreographer needs to be a choreographer and not a director. Bad move. He was seen performing in few songs of these movies.

He was seen in Comedy nights with Kapil promoting Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya. (there are many other ways to promote your movies and yourself) why not try other hit ideas like social media, interacting with the audiences, college fest etc

Farah Khan

Farah Khan is best known for her choreographic work in numerous Bollywood films. She has also trained Colombian pop star Shakira for a Bollywood version of her song Hips Don't Lie for the MTV Video Music Awards

She started hosting the celebrity chat show Tere Mere Beach Mein and then was a judge on the reality television series Indian Idol - Season 1 & Season 2, Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star, Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega 

She also judged dance reality show Just Dance alongside Hrithik Roshan and Vaibhavi Merchant on Star Plus.

And she was seen doing an excellent job in Dance India Dance Li'l Masters and DID mummies which got done this month.

Lauren Gottlieb

Lauren Gottlieb is a contemporary dancer and actor. She is one of the known contestant on the third season of the reality dance competition So You Think You Can Dance and she also played main female role in the Indian dance film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance in 2013 which was directed and choreographed by Remo D’Souza. She was last seen as the highest scorer and the runner-up of the popular Indian television dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 6) with choreographer and partner Punit Pathak.

Lobo Ashley Lobo

Ashley lobo is a dancer, a theatre artist, a teacher, a philosopher, a yoga instructor and a leading choreographer in the Indian film industry. He is trained in classical ballet, jazz, funk and contemporary. His choreography was seen in hit movies like cocktail, rockstar, dhoom etc. He is the founder and an artistic director of Danceworx Performing Arts Academy.

He is purely seen promoting himself through reality shows on Star Plus. He made his first debut as a host in a dance fitness segment on Good Morning India and recently was seen in India’s Dancing Superstar both on star plus. He is no more in the news or seen in any current show.

He has seen promoting himself as well as his dance academy on social media i.e twitter, facebook. He is actively promoting his new project “Going Home” on facebook and twitter as well. He is seen interacting with all his students on FB n twitter..Good If no TV or news, Social Media very much important.

  

Remo D'Souza- This is It!!

Remo D'souza, an Indian dancer, choreographer, actor and a film director. He is also involved in Indian film industries, mainly the Bengal cinema.

Remo started as a background dancer in Rangeela and many other movies. He promoted himself through dancing as a background dancer itself. And he still promotes himself this way by saying in different shows that he started off as a background dancer. And this made him grow. He judged the reality dance show Dance India Dance on Zee TV, which I guess was his first television appearance. People dint know who he was till then. Now he is currently seen in Jhalak Dikhlaja in Colors as a very famous judge since 2010 along with Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit

Firstly came in the limelight as a Judge in DID 1 and 2 along with Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis. Showed his dance moves and love for MJ (THIS IS IT). During DID, he also came up with a movie called FALTU for youngsters staring Jackie Bhagnani, Pooja Gupta and Ritiesh Deshmukh in 2011. He got the best way to promote his movie on the stage of Jhalak Dikhlaja. He was seen promoting himself and the movie all over. He did the music launch of FALTU at Planet M with the starcast. 

 

He got an excellent feedback for this movie...n there goes his next movie called ABCD in 2013 which was the first 3D dance movie showing all his dance styles with all DID dancers. He was seen promoting this movie in college festivals with the starcast performing on stage with him. He was seen in VJTI College. He was also seen promoting himself on the stage of Nach Baliye.

From his dancing and choreography he became a film director. And now has a tag of a well known director too.

Now talking about his promotion on Social Media, he lacks a lot. Doesn’t seem if he is interested in social media. Not at all active on social media where other people tend to be active. He purely promotes himself through reality shows and his choreography.
