Lets get Started...

Hi! My name is Priyanka Kulkarni,

I am a commerce graduate and currently pursuing Masters in Public Relations from Mumbai University.

I am a young and bubbly girl who literally dances her way through life. I am a dance enthusiast, I have a good sense of humour, I am a shopaholic, an ardent cricket fan, I also have an experience in different fields like financial audit, styling for shoots, event management, and on the surface I am a complete gadget freak. I have an enviable collection of all the latest gizmos. I have worked in a PR agency as a PR executive handling multiple roles with complete ease and élan. Good co-ordination, communication and a keen eye for detail makes me an asset in PR activities.

I am a Shiamak Davar student and dance is my passion and soul. I have chosen the topic, “Role of PR for Choreographers” because it would be easier for me to understand this concept effortlessly as I have a passion to dance and also have a lot of knowledge about the same.

A choreographer is the one who implements skill and develops unique dance forms. That form, then becomes their signature style. Such a person gets to work with a lot of different dancers and artists who have their own unique styles, including celebrities and other well known people.

“Public relations is a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their public.”

The role of PR for choreographers is such that it creates a better business for them along with the choreographer’s style of dancing. With the help of Public Relations, they are able to reach out to a large number of audiences and this helps them to create a much bigger fan base. I am going to talk about how they promote themselves through social media, radio, reality shows on television etc and how they use various other media and non-media tools to reach out to the audiences.
